A WORD FROM THE HOME OFFICE
As God is leading us to grow and increase His Kingdom - we will continue to follow His command in the Acts 1:8 verse - “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Webster defines increase as: The act or process of becoming greater in number. Following the Acts 1:8 verse - we are in the process of opening an office in Des Moines, IA. The purpose of this office is to connect more churches in the Des Moines area doing the Planned Acts of Christian Kindness ministry.
Great News!! Acts 1:8 is bringing Veggie Tales to the Weidner Center. To reserve your partnership tickets - call now at 920-494-2289.

VOLUNTEER PROFILE |

Lenore Binford is a wonderful person to sit and talk with. Lenore is a volunteer that comes into Acts 1:8 Ministry to do projects. Lenore is a proud Mother of two and Grandmother of six. In her free time she enjoys reading, walking, working puzzles and playing games with her sisters. Her favorite verse is Romans 8:35-39 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Thank you so much Lenore for all your time, we enjoy having you here. |
