a powerful bond that allows us to achieve a common goal: to

and connect people to Jesus Christ through Planned Acts of

Jean Sherman-Kalcik
came to know Jesus as her personal Saviour at the
age of 27. She was married to a pastor, Jere Sherman, for 30
years when God called him home. Jean has a calming,
understanding aspect about her, that I believe comes from
being a pastor’s wife for all those years.
With 3 wonderful children,
8 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter, Jean expanded
her family when she married John Kalcik 4 years ago. Adding
3 grown grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Besides volunteering with
Acts 1:8 Ministry, Jean also volunteers at Brown County
Volunteer Center, and at First Assembly of God. When not
volunteering she enjoys crocheting and flower gardening.
One of her favorite Bible
passages: John 14:1-6 “Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are
many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am
going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be
with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to
the place where I am going.”
Thomas said to him, “Lord,
we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the
way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jean, thank you for all you
do, we are truly blessed to have you with us. |
